Birthday celebration....finally

My babies celebrated their 7th and 4th birthdays back in April.  I know....we finally had a little party two months later.  We celebrated with friends and family.  It was fun to visit and watch all the kiddos swim. We even got into a friendly game of water volleyball.   I was not very good at taking pictures - I have a bad habit of talking - too much.....but I did get few.  Everyone took turns swimming.  We ate sausage wraps, a cookie cake, and we all enjoyed visiting.
Happy birthday my sweet babies.  You both are indeed a blessing we thank God for everyday.

Thank you all for coming....sorry most of you did not get a picture:(  We enjoyed every one of you!

Fashion show

Anistin's daycare put on a fashion show for the local nursing home here in Taylor.  Both the ladies and gentlemen were dressed so nicely.  We had to fill out a paper telling all about Anistin and what she likes.  She was so cute.

She seemed fine until they called her name.  She got a little nervous, but marched on like a champ!

Belated birthdays

Now, I told ya that I have a new phone and trying to get pictures to my blog has been quite the task.  However, I have been able to do it.  It is rather a lengthy process, but I am getting pictures on my blog. We celebrated some birthdays a while ago.  We were at our local bar - Ed's.  This place is great.  Great food, great people, and great music.  Happy late birthday ladies.

Tell it on the mountain

We finished up our vacation bible school yesterday.  The theme was "Tell it on the Mountain".  The kids were fed a yummy meal and then they were off to sing, listen to the word, and create wonderful art pieces.
Jimmy and I were in charge of the kitchen.  We had the wonderful opportunity to work with some people that we only see at church.  Some of our members are way too fun.  Thank you to all those who helped.  We will so work together again!  Huge thank you to Jimmy.  You shined in the kitchen and thank you for being an example to our own children.  I love you!

June 19th

My sweet husband and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary on June 19th.  I can not believe it has been 9 years.  It seems like yesterday we met and now we have a beautiful family, beautiful home, and a beautiful life.  Thank you God for your abundant gifts and many blessings.

I found this on pinterest....not sure who came up with this....but thank you!

Mother's Day

Jimmy's mom came to visit us on Mother's Day.  We took her to eat Mexican food and then hung out by the pool and visited.  It was real nice to be with Grams.

Easter

We had a great time at Easter.  Our church had a little Easter egg hunt.  We then headed to our house and had a little Easter lunch with family.

I am running out of room!

My hands are too small to get all of these!

Anistin is letting her brother know that he will have to share....Breken is thinking no way!

Teachers ROCK

I teach third grade reading.  I have an awesome team.  We did a spirit week before STAAR (yes I am well aware that I am a few months behind).  One of the days was to rock the STAAR.
Not sure why we are squatting in this picture?!
My friend Julie, the one to the right when you look at the picture, did my hair.  She put three french braids in it while it was wet and I slept in them.  My hair was pretty loud.
My students still ask me when I am going to look like I did on rock star day.  Jimmy did not even recognize me in one of the pictures.

Fishin' in Franklin

We headed to Franklin today to hang out with some of Jimmy's family.  They literally live in the middle of nowhere!  We packed up our camping chairs and fishing poles.  When we got there, it was some kind of hot.  I just knew that my kids were not going to want to fish in 95 degree weather.  I was wrong.  They enjoyed every minute of it.  Breken even caught three fish.  Anistin had one, but it jump off.  Overall, we had a great time being together and with family.
