1 Timothy 4:12

God has blessed us with amazing people in our life.  We attend a small church that is filled with big hearts.  I took this picture this morning at church and I wanted to share this post with you all.
Breken is sitting with our Taylor Ducks quarterback, Jeremy Synder, talking about football.  Now, our house is all about football.  We are huge Nebraska and Oklahoma and Taylor fans....but honestly, any football is great football.  So, when the opportunity presents itself to talk football....we talk football.
I thought this picture was amazing.  I was able to sit for a second before Sunday school and hear the conversation that was happening between a 6 year old and a Senior.  They were talking about football.  Both were engaged and both appeared to be invested in the conversation.  I even asked Jeremy if Breken was making sense and he smiled and said yes.  This made my heart happy and made me realize how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such wonderful people.  Jeremy did not have to sit there and talk to Breken, but he chose too.  He chose to sit there and listen to a 6 year old boy and make him feel as if he were the only person in that room.  Breken has not stopped talking about Jeremy and has asked me several times to just text him and have him come over.  Breken even asked if he could invite Jenna, Jeremy's sister...you know so Anistin could have someone to be with:)  We love Miss Jenna too!
Jeremy may or may not know this, but he has left a lasting impression on Breken and me.  He is an example that I pray my son continues to look up too and follow.  Jeremy plays for a great group of coaches and players.  I have been able to get to know them and I smile as I think of how well they represent Taylor, their school, their community and their families.  I am so proud to stand next to my coach who speaks so highly of all of these players and I am proud to know that these examples are the ones my son and possibly daughter want to follow.  Thank you God for your abundant gifts and many blessings.

Run that play by me again!

Pumpkin patch

I can not believe it is that time year for the pumpkin patch!  That means that Thanksgiving is around the corner and then Christmas.  Wow!  Time is flying by....way too fast.  Here are few pics of the kids at the pumpkin patch.  They are just too cute and too big.

Cooking for the coaches

Uhm, I am not going to hand stir this the whole time!
During football season, the wives and significant others take on the duties of providing lunches for the coaches when they work on Saturdays.  We brought lunch a few weeks ago and it was our turn to do it again.  Since the weather was great, we provided deer and pork sausage.  We made brownies too.  Anistin was in charge of this.  What a cutie!  Thanks, Rylynn for the apron....it comes in handy - a lot!

This is much better!

Let it rain!

"Take advantage, mom is letting us get crazy!"
Everyone makes fun of me for not cutting the cord!  Yes, I am guilty....why?  No clue:(  Awhile back, it rained.  Yes, it rained!  I let my kids get out there have some fun.  Yes, I let them get crazy in the rain.    And I have the pictures to prove it:)  LOL!!!!
"Mom, do you really have to sing the song?"
"Uhm, ya she does!"  "Get the gumdrops!"
"Are you sure our mom is letting us do this?  Who cares?  Just do it!"

Proverbs 17:17

I pray that everyone gets the blessings of true friendship!

I am blessed to have such great people in my life.  From childhood to adulthood, God has put people in my life that have helped me, guided me, hurt me, loved me and have never left my side (even at my ugliest).  I came Taylor 7 years ago.  In those 7 years, I have been blessed with the most amazing people.  There is a group of us who get together often and celebrate birthdays.  We also take trips, hang out and even work together.  For my birthday, we celebrated at our usual hang out.  As we talked and hung out, I began to give my "speech".  At one point, I was laughing and crying.  I have heard of people doing this, but was skeptical.  It does happen and I did it!  Thank you, Cuba!  And thank you to my wonderful friends....I don't think I could live with you (maybe Golden Girls situation), but I know I could not live without you!  I love you all!
This is what is on my filing cabinet at school.  I get to see the lovely ladies everyday!

Very few get the opportunity to be surrounded by such wonderful people.  I thank God for all of the people in my life.  Even if you are not in these pictures, I treasure our friendship and do thank God for you.  After all, a friend loves at all times:)
