Happy Holidays

We had a great few weeks!  We celebrated Thanksgiving with some dear friends and our families.  We had mimosas, the kids played outside, and we sat around eating and giving thanks.
The kids played chase and football.

They practiced throwing too.

We had a wonderful Christmas.  The kids participated in the annual church program.  We had both sides of our families at our home for Christmas.  It was a great time to be together and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.

My brother, Cecil and I.

This was the shot for our Christmas card.

To wrap up my holiday season....the Sooners pulled through with a huge victory over Alabama.  What a game and what a team.  O - U....O - U....O - U!

Fun with Uncle Cecil

We hung out with Uncle Cecil a few weeks ago.  He invited us to go with him to the air and car show in Georgetown.  The kids loved looking at the planes, talking to people, and eating snow cones.  Cecil and I split a pickle flavored one.  It was so gross, but good at the same time.

2nd tooth lost

I can not believe that my baby has just lost his 2nd tooth.  We had to get one pulled, but this is his second tooth that has come out.  We were eating at the table and he looked at me and spit his tooth out!  We are excited and ready to put it under the pillow!

Trip to Aggieland

Gig 'em!  My bff and I went to college station for a brain break a few weeks ago.  We hit up the Chicken, bottle cap alley, some stores, and the Chicken again.  I did not attend A & M, but I have sure enjoyed going.  I can honestly say that I hope one of my babies attends:)
The only bad thing I can say is that I always buy so much stuff when I go.  I blame the Chicken!  Great times though.

The Daily Grind

I totally told myself that I would keep this blog going even after school started....BOOM!  Did I drop the ball:(  We have been going strong since the first day of school started.  Our schedule consists of football practice, karate, staying with mom and making copies in the workroom when everyone is gone, and hanging out with Aunt Manda cause mommy has started her Temple College class.  No, I am not in school, I teach a Developmental Reading class on Wednesdays.
My third grade class rocks this year and my Temple College students are pretty cool too.  Here are just a few pics of what we have been up too....enjoy!

We celebrated Cuba's party back in July.

Good times

The last few weekends have been filled with birthday parties, fishing, and bbq's.  We are so blessed to have such great friends in our lives.  Our kiddos were able to swim, run, climb, play chase, jump, and just have fun.  Here are a few pics from our fun times.

I did make brownies for the bbq....I was just running behind and did not bring them.  I am posting as proof that I did them....LOL!!!

After one of our long saturdays we took baths and made some popcorn and watched a movie.

I forgot to mention....we lost a tooth....our first tooth:)  We had one tooth removed and spacer put in, but this was Breken's first tooth that he lost:)
